Kayaking Lake Arrowhead, CA... In a few words, it is breathtaking, peaceful and a great workout.
Kayaking in Lake Arrowhead is a special time of day for me. The water lapping around, sounds of water skiiers out, quietly moving along the shoreline and seeing all the our "Forest Friends" collecting their bounty.
Lake Arrowhead is a private lake in Southern California in the San Bernardino National Forest. It is for the use of property owners that own property within the Arrowhead Woods. The cost to register a kayak is very inexpensive.
$25 for a non-powered boat. You must stay within 100 feet of the shoreline, but that is where all of the great things are to look at. If your boat is over 12' , you can cross the lake. You are bound to meet fellow kayakers out there and a lot of them meet up for evening kayaking or just the beauty of the day.
