Rules

  • Pick up your map at the CB Sky Ridge Realty
  • Choose which open houses you want to go to and head out.
  • At each home collect one card per family
  • At the end of your tour, return to our office and turn in your poker hand (5 cards max)
  • We will collect the cards at our front office and choose the best poker hand on Tuesday and call the winner of the "Summer Basket".

SELF-RESPECT IS THE BEST MEANS OF GETTING THE RESPECT OF OTHERS.
Have you known people who can’t stand to be alone for any length of time? The chances are good that those folks don’t like themselves very much. They need others around constantly to validate their own existence. Sadly, the people who need others the most are usually those whom others least like to be around. Because they don’t like themselves, other people seldom do either. The surest way to command the respect of others is to become a person you like being around. Identify the characteristics you admire in others and make a conscious effort to develop them yourself. Your self-respect begins to grow the moment you decide to take the first step toward becoming the kind of person you know you can be a success.

Lake Arrowhead Village Memorial Weekend 2010 ~ What's Happening?

Lake Arrowhead Village this Memorial Weekend there will be plenty to do!

The lake should be sparkling this weekend and our weather is looking great.  Experience the full effect of the Lake Arrowhead Lifestyle... Friday will be the coolest day with highs around 62 degrees, but Saturday things warm up to the mid 70's for the remainder of the weekend.

May 28, 2010 ~ Friday Night is a special treat ~ It is "MOVIE NIGHT" in the Village.  The will be presenting "The Great Outdoors" Starring John Candy (Chet) and Dan Aykroyd (Roman).  The Village will be showing family oriented films to enjoy throughout the summer. 

May 29, 2010 ~ Saturday Night Concert benefit at Center Stage  ~ Inland Empire Swing Orchestra ~ Benefit for Music Education Programs in our Mountain Communities.  The concert will start at 5:30

May 30, 2010 ~ Sunday Night "Fantastic Diamond" ~ a Neil Diamond tribute ~ At Center Stage starting at 5:30

May 31, 2010 ~ Monday Memorial Day ~ Craig Dooley Surf n Turf ~ show will be from 12-3PM at Center Stage ! ~ Craig is a local who puts out some 60's surf and hot rod music.

Commentary:
Bonds are getting hit this morning as stocks continue to rebound after the Dow spent most of yesterday
below 10,000 before rallying back to close above that important level. Durable goods orders appeared to
help stocks although the closely watched “Non-Defense ex-aircraft” number was lower than expected. In
fact, the gains seen in the headline number was almost all attributed to transportation (aircraft) orders. Also
released today was April New Home Sales which posted a larger than expected rise. This number was
clearly impacted by the tax credit and does not likely point to a sustainable expansion in new home sales
going forward. Mortgage apps were up last week but once again the increase was purely refinance activity.
Purchase apps were down for the second week in a row.
Later this morning the Treasury will auction 5 yr notes. Yesterday’s 2yr auction was average at best. All
markets will continue to watch Korea and Europe which appear to be the drivers for the immediate future.
